In a big congregation, there is a possibility for one to be easily overlooked. As a church, we do not want that, because we believe every individual matters. We believe that it is necessary for people to not only come to church, but also for every aspect of their life to be supported in Godly ways. That is the essence of Pastoral Care.

Our services

Baptism Celebration

Baptism is a symbolic act of faith of surrendering one’s life to Jesus. It means letting go of the life that was once bounded to the things of the world and embracing a new life together with God in every sphere of life. It is such a tremendous joy for us to see people make the decision to be baptised!

Child Dedication

Child Dedication is a ceremony where parents make a decision to dedicate their children to God. This signifies the parents’ promise to raise their child according to God’s Word.

Counseling

One of the roles of Pastoral Care is providing Christ-centred counseling to individuals who are facing various struggles, which include mental health problems, relationships, parenting, grief and loss, and other inner personal struggles.

Marriage Preparation

To help build a strong Biblical foundation in future husbands and wives, our Pastoral Care team provides premarital counseling. Pastoral Care ensures that the engaged couple has the right foundation & ready for their marriage to be officiated by the pastoral team later on their wedding day.

Visitation

We are fully aware of the importance of our congregation’s health, and so we believe that it is crucial to know each individual’s well-being. Hence, our Pastoral Care team offers hospital and house visitations to members of the congregation. We would visit and pray for those who may have been unable to come to church due to disability or sickness.

Dedication

We believe that everything we have is a blessing from God and evidence of His faithfulness. If you are celebrating a new milestone in life (new workplace, new career, new house, etc.), the church would love to celebrate it with you! We do visitation services to express our gratitude for the goodness of God that occurs in the lives of our church members.

Consolation

Our Pastoral Care team centres on the well-being of the family, and we realise how difficult it is to lose a loved one. Our Pastoral Care team ministers to the grieving family. Our ministry takes form in visiting the funeral, having the service at the funeral, as well as in the cemetery.
